The elevator situation is frustratingly slow, especially during peak times!!! If you're on the 4th floor, prepare for the stairs!!! Water pressure in the shower is an issue that needs addressing!!! It would also be nice to have better coffee options.

The perfect base for exploring Rome

Hotel Argentina is a gem in Rome, just a short 5-minute walk from the Termini station. The staff were incredibly helpful, providing us with great transport tips. The breakfast featured delightful Italian pastries, setting a sweet start to our busy days of sightseeing at places like the Colosseum and Basilica, all within easy reach. What's more, our room was spotlessly clean and warm, thanks to effective air conditioning.

Unfortunately, the breakfast lacked some variety, mostly consisting of sweet items. Additionally, the walls seemed thin, allowing us to hear noises from neighboring rooms occasionally. Though not a huge issue, it affected our sleep quality slightly, especially on busier nights.

I stayed in a Single Room for 3 nights, and the bed felt a bit firm but comfy enough for some good sleep. The room was clean and tidy, with a mini fridge and solid air conditioning to beat the heat. No view from the window, which was okay because I wasn’t really there to admire it. The shower had decent water pressure too, but it could use a bit more soundproofing since I could hear noise from the hall. Still, a good spot for resting after exploring Rome!
